Supercharged Camira..

Craig and Adam\’s attempt at adding an SC12 to a JE Camira wagon

We’re still alive

Posted by superchargedcamira on November 18, 2006

Its been a while since our last post. We’ve been working hard trying to solve this 2 bar mapping problem.. making slow progress, but progress none the less. We’ve been getting help from kman1 (dave from melbourne) on the pulsar australia forum. Check out http://forum.pulsar.org.au/showthread.php?t=26353&page=17 if your interested in the details of our discussions in trying to solve this issue.

On another note, im hoping to get a chance to test our inductive pickup and the home dyno software on a formula ford racecar during the week.. will hopefully get to put in a few laps of the raceway too for oldtimes sakes if im lucky.

Anyways, hopefully we’ll get to the bottom of this 2 bar mapping problem soon enough so we can get started on installing the supercharger itself, although its coming up to xmas soon so things might slow a little. Just thought id post this little update for those of you who actually give a crap about how we’re getting on with project camira 🙂

i think its awesome that you’s are supercharging a camira, certainly different in all aspects 😛

i have a camira myself that i am sort of doing up

    Rogers…

  2. Gday Rogers, I think its awesome too haha.. nah in all seriousness, I dont see why the last model JE Camira isnt “played with” more often. I dont think you can beat bang for buck, seeing as its 2 litre MPI powerplant has some great potential and is still modern enough – fuel injection wise – to be reliable and surprisingly responsive!

None of this piss farting around with carbies and points anymore!
